David Allen Basche

He’s also a classically trained theatre actor, and counts among his many plays “Snakebit” with Naked Angels, and the two-hander NYC hit “Visiting Mr. Green,” which he performed for almost two years with legendary actor Eli Wallach.
You can now see David in the feature film “EGG” (Gravitas Ventures distribution, on iTunes and Amazon and more) a comedy he produced and stars in with Christina Hendricks and Anna Camp and also his wife, actress Alysia Reiner. Despite this, they somehow stayed married.
As a Director, David has apprenticed acclaimed TV directors on shows like "Grace & Frankie,” “NCIS: New Orleans,” “Instinct,” "Scream Queens" and "Scorpion.” He directed (and wrote!) wildly varying content for TV Land while starring on their hit sitcom "The Exes," including “The Exes Freaky Friday Halloween Episode,” the rap video “On My Sitcom,” and the interview series “Guest Stars in Golf Carts Getting Nothing.”
He was 2nd Unit Director on the film “Egg” starring Christina Hendricks and Anna Camp (2018 Tribeca Film Festival Spotlight Film), as well as serving as one of the film’s main producers. He was also a hands-on Producer of the Wall Street thriller feature film "EQUITY” with Anna Gunn, Carrie Preston and James Purefoy, which was bought by Sony Pictures Classics at Sundance.
